No technical knowledge is required! Our platform is designed to be simple and intuitive. You can create campaigns, customize prompts, and manage videos all through our easy-to-use dashboard. If you can send an email or share a link, you can use viideo.net.
What devices and browsers are supported?
viideo.net works on all modern devices including smartphones, tablets, and computers. It's compatible with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge browsers. The recording happens directly in the browser, so your customers don't need to download any apps.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple! Choose a pricing plan that fits your needs, create an account, and you'll be able to create your first campaign within minutes. You can customize your campaign with specific instructions for your customers and start collecting videos right away.
Campaigns
What types of campaigns can I create?
You can create three main types of campaigns: Testimonial Campaigns for collecting customer reviews, User Generated Share Campaigns to encourage customers to share videos on their social media, and Contest Campaigns to run video contests and giveaways. Each campaign type is designed for different marketing goals.
How do I share my campaign with customers?
Once you create a campaign, you'll receive a unique link that you can share via email, SMS, social media, or any other channel you prefer. Simply copy the link and send it to your customers - they can click it and start recording immediately.
Can I customize the recording prompts and instructions?
Yes! You have full control over the recording instructions and prompts your customers see. You can customize the questions, guidelines, and even set specific requirements for each campaign. This helps ensure you get the content you need.
Can I limit how many videos are collected per campaign?
Absolutely! You can set a maximum number of recordings per campaign. This helps you control costs and manage the volume of content you receive. You can also set campaign duration limits to control when campaigns are active.
Video Recording
Do my customers need to download an app?
No! Your customers don't need to download anything. They simply click the link you share, grant camera permission in their browser, and start recording. Everything happens right in their web browser - making it as easy as possible for them to participate.
What browsers work best for recording?
viideo.net works with all modern browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Chrome or Safari, especially on mobile devices.
How long can videos be?
You can set video length limits for each campaign. Most campaigns work well with videos between 15 seconds and 2 minutes, but you have the flexibility to set whatever length works best for your needs.
Can customers record on mobile devices?
Yes! Mobile recording is fully supported and works great. In fact, many customers prefer recording on their phones since they're already comfortable with their device's camera. The recording interface is optimized for both mobile and desktop experiences.
What happens if a customer has technical issues?
Our platform is designed to be as simple as possible, but if customers encounter issues, they can contact [email protected] for assistance. We also provide clear instructions and guidance throughout the recording process to minimize any confusion.
Pricing & Billing
How does pricing work?
We offer flexible pricing with no monthly subscriptions. You pay per video recorded, starting at $10 per video. We also offer bundle packages (Growth Bundle: 30 videos for $149, Agency Bundle: 1000 videos for $2500) that provide significant savings. You only pay for videos that are actually recorded.
What's included in each pricing plan?
All plans include: automatic consent and permission collection, dashboard access to view and manage campaigns, ability to invite team members, easy video downloads, and 6 months of video storage. Higher-tier plans include additional features like unlimited campaigns, priority support, and custom branding.
Can I add more videos later?
Yes! You can purchase additional videos at any time. If you start with the Pay As You Go plan, you can upgrade to a bundle later, or simply purchase more individual videos as needed. There's no commitment or subscription required.
Do I pay for videos that aren't recorded?
No! You only pay for videos that are actually recorded and submitted. If you set a campaign limit for 10 videos but only 5 are recorded, you only pay for those 5 videos. This ensures you're only paying for value you receive.
Video Management
How do I review videos before they go live?
All videos submitted to your campaigns appear in your dashboard where you can review them before taking any action. You can watch each video, add comments, approve or reject submissions, and download the ones you want to use.
How long are videos stored?
Videos are stored and accessible in your dashboard for 6 months from the date they were recorded. This gives you plenty of time to review, download, and use the content in your marketing materials.
Can I download videos?
Yes! You can easily download any video from your dashboard. Simply click the download button and the video file will be saved to your device. You can then upload it to your website, social media platforms, or use it in your marketing campaigns.
Can team members access and review campaigns?
Absolutely! You can invite team members to access your account and collaborate on campaigns. They'll be able to view campaigns, review videos, add comments, and help manage your video collection process. This is included in all pricing plans.
What happens to videos after the campaign ends?
Videos remain accessible in your dashboard for 6 months after recording, regardless of when the campaign ends. You can continue to review, download, and use them during this period.
Privacy & Permissions
How do you handle customer consent and permissions?
We automatically collect consent and permissions from customers before they submit their video. This includes permission to use their video for marketing purposes. All consent is captured digitally and stored with each video submission, ensuring you have proper documentation for using the content. You can also customize the consent text to fit your needs.
Can customers see their videos after submitting?
Customers can review their videos before submitting them, or even choose to re-record them if they are not satisfied.
Is customer data secure?
Yes, we take data security seriously. All video submissions and customer information are stored securely. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data and your customers' information.
